Just Sing!

La La La ladies
So…..after the government’s announcement on Monday, we have decided that our rehearsal on Tuesday 22nd June 2021 CAN still go ahead! But we need to limit it to 30 people in order to make sure we are safe. We also need to know BEFOREHAND who is coming – so PLEASE book your place by emailing/texting me. First come, first served……. Once we have had one rehearsal, we may be able to increase numbers for the second, if our risk assessment allows.
Also, a few of us (there is only room for 10……) are singing at 3.20pm on Saturday 24th July at the Woodborough Street Market Fandango, so come and support us PLEASE!!!!

The dates to sing are:

Tuesday June 22nd 7.30 – 8.30/9 SINGING

Tuesday June 29th 7.30 – 8.30/9 SINGING

Tuesday July 20th  7.30 – onwards SINGING and SOCIAL – details to follow.

Please bring with you: folders, water if you need it, hand gel/face mask. We will need everyone to sign in on arrival and give contact details for track and trace.

Literally CANNOT WAIT to see you all. It has been MUCH too long!

Please email me directly if you wish to join us on 22nd June.

I look forward to it so much – please do drop me a line at    if you have any questions or queries.

Just Sing is a community choir made up of around 40 women from the north Nottinghamshire village of Woodborough and neighbouring towns and villages.

Under the leadership of their Music Director, Cate Cadman, the choir meets each Tuesday evening at Woodborough Woods School, a short distance up Lingwood Lane, in Woodborough.

Songs in the choir’s current repetoire include ‘Pearl’ by Katie Perry, ‘Brave’ by Sara Bareilles, and a selection of songs from The Greatest Showman. We sing a wide variety of songs from gospel, musical theatre, pop (current and retro!), and even some classical repertoire too.

Tickets for our last concert – at St Swithun’s Church, Woodborough, on Tuesday 25 June, sold out! We had a fabulous night of singing. Dates of upcoming concerts will be posted on here soon……

Support for the choir comes from a number of local organisations, including Woodborough Woods School, St Swithun’s Church, Woodborough Web, and the village Post Office.

Invitations to sing come from a wide range of organisations including St Swithun’s Church, Timmermans Garden Centre, We R Here (for whom we have sung at various venues) and the Women’s Institute.

New members are always welcome – whether you have previous experience or not. The first session is free, after that members pay a weekly contribution of £4.00 to help cover costs.

Go for it! Find out more by contacting Choir Director Cate Cadman by email:
